Around the 1900's is the last thing I know of my maternal family history. No one is able to define our family name, nor how far it dates back. On my maternal side, we have reunions about every 10-15 years, on my fathers side we haven't ever had one, which does not clearify or help our heritance. My family news resides around my immediate family. I come from a home of very gifted athletes, which their names are almost always published in some paper. I feel like our family history has been lost. I want to try and locate my roots, especially before my great grnadmother passes on and before I decide to start a family.
