I have followed the trail of James Proctor Harrex,convict(and his descendants), from the time of his arrival in Sydney on the 'Ganges'in 1798(Archival/church/government information records).
I 'hit a brick wall'trying to trace his/any family records from Suffolk, England before 1769.
Have found a record of his marriage to Deborah Mumford in the parish of Monks Eleigh on the 29th. December 1769,and of the baptisms of James, Deborah and Elizabeth Harrex, but here the clues stopped and Internet links I have explored, have not helped me.
I would be grateful if descendants who have researched this area and found links to other descendants(Harrex and /or Mumford)
would get in touch with me.
