I'm in search of my grandfather's roots in Kansas/Oklahoma (Choctaw descendant). My grandfather, William J Secor, was born on Aug 7, 1921 in Topeka, KS to May Walker, born in "Wichita, OK" and Raymond J Secor, born in Poughkeepsie, NY.

My grandfather was one of 3 boys. One died in a childrens home, I believe in Witchita, KS, of pneumonia. My grandfather and his brother Alfred were sent to live w/his mother in Poughkeepsie, NY after a divorce. May Walker married Raymond's brother William, my grandfather's uncle and lived in Poughkeepsie.

I was talking w/Alfred's wife & she says Raymond remained in OK and remarried having several other children. I know there has to be some Secor's out there!

Can anyone help.
