About Our Family Research

My family research has been with my Maternal side, Isbister/Isbester and Stafford. Paternal side Nelson(originally from Sweden Father Nils Svenson and Anderson from Scotland. My Maternal side originates from Scotland and England. The Paternal side three generations back to Scotland and an unknown for my paternal great grandmother. I have, with my cousin Marilyn Kay, and others traced many of the family and have encountered trails with the following surnames: Scott, Wilcox, Colton, Robbins, Bergstrom, Burrill, Day, Connor, Sprague, Harbaugh, Cromwell, Bower, Hurd, Dean, Abbey, Parcher, and many more. I have met with a "cousin" whose GG Grand Mother was the sister of my GG Grand Father. And, we exchanged information and pictures etc. I have not as yet attempted to enter all the documentation I have accumulated into a "family tree" but keep the data in three ring binders by name.
