The history of Nemes family, starts in village Liptovske Beharovce, near Liptovsky Mikulas on Liptov area, Slovakia ( or Beharfalu, Liptó county in hungarian ).
My Grandfather - Mikulas Nemes / hun. Nemes Miklos / - was born in Liptovske Beharovce, December 6th, 1866. Died in Trnava, October 14th, 1952. He was a shoemaker.
My Grandma Alzbeta Kubanova / hun. Kuban Erszebet / was born in Pezinok / Bazin /, a small city between Bratislava and Trnava - June 28th, 1866. As a young girl, maybe for work, I don't know... went somewhere in Tyrol area / Austria / and later came to Budapest, where she met my Grandfather. Probably they're married there, cause all their childrens were born in Budapest.
Then my Grandparents went to Trnava where we live until now...
My father Eugen, born in December 30th, 1893 in Budapest, Hungary.
Had a brother Mikulas, but he died in 1st World War, don't know where... His name is wrote on the Memory statue of 1st World War, in Trnava.
Had two sisters - Alzbeta /wedd. Pankiewicz - family's livin in Kosice, now / and Helena, who died unmarried.
So, family continued in Trnava, where I was born - December 25th, 1921 and still stay lucky....
Other names in our family are Kuban, Kristofik / or Kristoffy / or Pankiewicz. Today I am 80 year old, I've got 3 daughters / of 3 wifes :))) / - Marika, Zuzana and Katka.
Seeking for ancestors in Slovakia, from Liptov area..., maybe in Hungary, don't know....
