We are researching the family of my great great great grandfather William Cairns born c.1780 in Scotland and the families subsequent emigration to Ontario c. 1846. Three branches of the family have recently been connected and this data base sits at about 800 names.
I admit that most of the research was done by my cousin who started the research in 1995 and to whom I owe a debt of gratitude for the many hours that she put into this fine work.
I know that like many other family trees this one has its errors and omissions but it is a work in progress.
