I am seeking the descendants of Ning family from all over the world via the Internet. This research was inspired by the need to know my root of origin.

It began as a school homework during my final year in primary education to find out brief history of my family. Naturally, my source of information came from my parents. Not only my curiosity began to expand, I am intrigued by the subject matter itself.

My interest in the family peaked in 2005 when my father bought himself a Chinese genealogy book of Ning clan whilst visiting our ancestors' birthplace in China. However, the information was incomplete, unavailable and outdated since there were many marriages and addition took place over the years. It can be a hassle to read and translate the book written in Chinese especially when my command of the language was rather poor to fully understand the book.
