For some time now I have been tracing my ancestors who originated from the Province of Xan Xi, in the region of Bun Yan, China. That was in the period of MING Dynasty, under the King Yun Lok, 1403 - 1425 A.D. It was reported that one of the earliest BUN ancestors was instructed by the King to move from Xan Xi southwards to a place named Luk Fung, in the province of Kuang Tung to hold office as his representative. In early Qing Dynasty(1644-1866 A.D.), Manchurians forced people to leave their own country and displaced them to central Quangdong, the coastline of Guangdong, Sichuan, Guangxi, Hunan and Taiwan. And many finally went to neighbouring countries and overseas. At sometime my ancestors arrived at the ISLAND OF BANGKA, where I was born and raised, in my homeland,INDONESIA
