I am researching the Barrick family that arrived in New York from Germany during the early 1700's and then settled in Frederick County, Maryland. Peter Barrick, after serving in the Revolutionary War, went on to settle in Crawford/Coles counties of Illinois.
Also researching information relating to the Herrin family, originating in the South Carolina area(early 1800's, Laird family-primarily Arkansas, and William Taylor(McMillon)family that settled in Johnson and Scott counties of Arkansas following a move from Tuscaloosa Cty, Alabama(after serving in the Civil War).

On my father's family, I am researching the Niolet family from the early 1800's arrival in what is now southern Mississippi. In addition, I am researching Ladner, Dubuisson, Moran/Morin, Necaise, and other names of French origin.
