Charles Franklin Eirby married Virginia MacDowell and resided in Mobile, Alabama with their daughter, Jessie Lorraine Eirby. Charles was the Presiding Elder of the CME church in Africa Town and he had a mattress factory, there, in Mobile, according to Jessie.
Contact has been made with some of the Eirby's who now live in Mobile, but none seem to have any record of having knowledge of this Charles Franklin Eirby. Elder members who might have known are now deceased. However, a phone conversation with a member of the church, there, led me to a gentleman who did have recollection of him.
