I have researched with the aid of my brother, Hal Capps, back in our family through four names: Capps, McCuistion, Phelan, and Scoggins. I have gotten the McCuistions back to the 1100s in Scotland, and found that we are related to the first king of Scotland, Robert the Bruce. We have traced the Capps family back to the east coast of America in the 1600s, and the Scoggins all the way back to Scotland also. I am now working on my husband's family tree, the Nulphs and the Domholts.
