My husband and I came to Canda with our two small children in 1968. My husband Lionel transferred from General Telephone in the states and we lived in Prince George for 6 mos., then moved to Burns Lake where my husband worked until we moved to Merritt in 1981. Our children and have gone their own way and now have their own families.
Our son, Craig and his wife Cara have two little girls. Sara just turned 5 years old in August and Maia is 1 1/2 years old
Our daughter, Janelle and her man, James live in Penticton. James has two kids by the his first marriage. They are teenagers. Robyn is 19 years old and Chris is 17 years old.
I came from a small family with just one other sister, Deanna. She and her husband Charlie are adopting their their grandchildren. Their are 3 girls. Amie -17yrs, Brandi-11yrs and Miranda 10 yrs old.
My husband Lionel came from a family of 2 brothers, Ron and Clyde and a sister Lila.
My husband has restored a 63 Chevy Impala SuperSport Convertible and we enjoy cruising and meeting new friends. We have friends that we cruise with and have enjoyed it immensely.
I, Linda like arts and crafts and I've enjoyed doing the genealogy,and I look forward to meeting more people with the same background as myself.
We have talked about going to an Impala show in Spearfish, S.D. next year. We make our usual trips to go to swap meets and also to see family in states.
I have enjoyed genealogy on the internet and look forward to meeting new people in my endeavors.
