My name is Stephen Nunn and i have been researching my family history for 3 years.Altough i live in the N.E of England my decendants have been traced to a village in Suffolk called Wickhambrook.At this moment in time i have managed to go back to the mid 1600s to a George Nunn who married a Rebecca Halls Nunn in Wickhambrook.Other names that appear to be popular in this family of Nunns are, James,Stephen and John.It was in the 1840s that a decendant of mine left the Suffolk area with his wife and moved to the N.E ( North Ormesby ) in search of work on the railways.
I have been helped in my research by my wife Sharon and brother David as well as my uncle Robert Nunn,we have also been on a visit to Wickhambrook to carry out more indepth research at Bury St Edmunds records office.
