About Our Family Research


This research traces the Thomas Hurd line from Lydia Bumpas through NY state to Iowa and to SD where another Tom Hurd settled as a homesteader in 1909. His son, Calvin Hurd, was my father.

We are starting a family tradition of Hurd reunions beginning in 2005. If you are a member of this line or one of it's branches, we welcome you. More details will be posted when they are settled.
