Hi I'm William David Oake and for the last couple of months I have been researching my family history throught the internet.My grandfather Austin Oake has also been helping me with my research with family photos and family trees.My grandfather Austin Oake is from Fogo Island Newfoundland a small isolated fishing island that can only be reached by ferry.I'm pretty sure that my ancestors moved from the Isle of Wight just off the coast of England to Fogo Island Newfoundland between 1730's and 1840's.I can trace my family history back to my great great great grandparents Joseph and Mary Torraville Oake in the 1840's.I'm 18 years old and I'm originally from Halifax Nova Scotia but I moved to Moncton New Brunswich 3 years ago. I would sincerely appreciate any information you have A.S.A.P.
