I am researching the O'Connors who descended from Peter O'Connor and Bridget Maher, Portarlington, County Laois, Ireland. Their children: Charles, John (my grandfather), Peter, Elizabeth, Anne, James, Catherine and Patrick. I have tracings to New Jersey and Iowa. The Griffins from County Mayo. Patrick Griffin and Mary Margaret Maloney had seven children: Thomas,Martin,Patrick, Michael, James, Catherine, Mary, Mary Griffin(my grandmother) married John O'Connor. The Cummings Family from New York, Bernard Cummings and Mary Lalor. Their children were: John, Wiliam, Bernard(my Maternal grandfather), Edward, Joseph, Alice, Mary, Agnes. The Gallagher family from NYC and/or Ireland. This is the family I need the most information about. Frank Gallagher and Mary Mackey had 7 children (four from the first marriage and three from the second): Isabella, Elizabeth, Rose and Mary(my maternal grandmother), Mabel Wann, John Wann, and Kenneth Wann. When Frank Gallagher died at a young age Mary remarried John Wann and they had three more children Major Bernard F. Cummings, my maternal grandfather married Mary Gallagher. Any information about these families is greatly appreciated. |
