I am looking for information re my GGG Grandfather Daniel Connor. He left Ireland with his family between 1847-1849 and sailed to England (possibly Devonport,Devon) before finally settling in Liverpool. The only information I have is that his Wife's name was Jane. Her surname was possibly McClure. They had 3 Sons in Ireland,John who was to become a Customs Officer in Liverpool,Thomas and Edward. He also had 2 Daughters in England Mary.J. and Catherine plus a 4th Son James. According to the 1861 Liverpool Census, they lived at 44 Stewart Street Liverpool. Daniel died in May 1877 aged 55 years and is buried at Anfield Cemetery Liverpool. Finally, although I don't know from where in Co.Kerry Daniel originated, I have a possible match in the Parish records of St.John's RC Church,Rock Street, Tralee Co.Kerry.
I would be very grateful to hear from anyone researching Daniel Connor/O'Connor's particularly if they are from the same area as my own ancestor.
Yours Hopefully,
Ron O'Connor
