Bunch & Winters Roots

Information on the Bunch family that migrated from NC to IN in early 1800's and on Winter/Winters family that migrated from England to Wisconsin in 1800's.

Richard Earl Bunch of Marion and Fairmount, Indiana, was a captain in the U.S. Army Field Artillery stationed in France in 1945 when he met Jean Agnes Winters, a lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps from Pine Grove, Montana, (near Missoula) also stationed in France. They met in Marseilles at the end of WWII just prior to being shipped home to the good old USA. They were married in Fairmount, Indiana in January 1946. In 1947 they moved to Missoula, Montana.
