Haas, b. in Baden, (now Germany), Kathryn/Katrina Thomas (?) b. 1819 in Baden also. Emma's parents: Jacob Slike (?)in PA, Louise Kissinger from Maryland.

His two daughters, Akia Edna(went by Edna, my mother)and Lawana Becky(called Becky) sang and performed as the Hammers Sisters in the 1930-40's.
