Pam and I are serious about discovering who our loved-ones are. She is from California - and her father was born in Hawaii, while I hail from Florida - with my family members coming from Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina
We have only begun our search on her side on the family - her maiden name being Cecil; while I have found quite a bit of information on my mother's side - Gomillions (going all the way back to Germany, mid-1500's) and the Infingers (going back several generations).
The Jesse Gomillion (my Grandfather)family has had an annual reunion for some thirty plus years. There are five of Jesse and Charolette (Infinger) Gomillion's children still living.

The Infinger family also meets annually, and has for many years. The reunions started at the Black Creek United Methodist Church, where great-grandmother and great-grandfather are buried (Enos Varidman Infinger and Tempie Adeline Bullard Infinger). After several years the reunion was moved to the Red Bay community, where most of the family settled.

Meanwhile the John Edward Odom (grandfather)family gathers at the home of his only living child (daugher), Alma Bowers, thought she died in 2007. This family gathers, as the weather cools - on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
