I am looking for information on the TAYLORS in and around the Covington County area. My Great grandfather was Thomas Henery Taylor that married Anna ?. Their son James Carve Taylor was my grandfather born Nov. 17,1899 died Oct. 20,1961 he married my grandmother Thelma Theo Harrelson born April 5, 1906 died May 6, 1982. Her parents were Ruben and Beatrice Harrelson. My father is James Hubert Taylor SR.of Florala,Al. and is married to Geneva H. Taylor. My father was born June 22, 1925 and is still alive. He had three brothers Otis Taylor livings in South Caroline is deceased, Gerald Nix Taylor, of Florala, Al. Thomas Hernry Taylor, living is Phoneix City, Al. My father had three sisters Beactrice Taylor Gaskin of Florala, Al. deceased, Vivian Gaskin Anderson deceased, and Betty Sue Taylor Skinner of Florala, Al.
I think they were reared in and around Florala, Horn Hill, Opp area maybe futher. My husbands mother was Maggie Louise Taylor Odom she is deceased her father was Buster Taylor she had a brother Winston Taylor a sister Katherine Taylor from around the Andulsia area.
