Ancestors of William St Pierre & Elizabeth Fordham of Essex

Updated November 8, 2007

About Our Family Research

My father, James St Pierre 1896/1972 was born in Barking Essex and lived and died there. He married my mother Amelia Rosetta Ann WARD 1897/1976 in 1919 at St Mary & St Ethelburga Catholic Church in Barking Essex.

I began researching my St PIERRE line about 1982 when I received a brief outline of the family. There are many St PIERRE researchers throughout the world and we have been connected for many years.

We have documented connections to the 100 Earls who came with William the Conqueror in 1066, and have an authentic Coat of Arms. We have documented ancestors as Sheriffs and Master Plumbers to the King. William St Pierre was the Master Plumber who worked on Windsor Castle, again this is documented.

We have a clear line back to 1500, a few gaps here before that. Our first ancestor in England was William de St Pierre of Caen France, one of the 100 Earls.
