I began my family history search about ten years ago. I started with some basic information gathered from family Bibles and conversations with parents, grandparents and extended family. I then went to the Camden City Archives and began with census records. During my saerch of the Archives I happened across a book by Fielding and Patricia Ogburn detailing their research on the Ogburn family. I was able, using their records, to tie my family to Hugh Edward Ogburn and, through him, back to Symon Ogbourne. My goal now is to verify each branch through independent sources and expand the search through my mother's side.
