Hirshall as pseudonym of the Hirsch of Hungary

About Our Family Research


Just starting to research my family tree. My late grandfather Alexander Hirshall once told me when I was young that the Hirshalls actually originated from the name Hirsch but changed name in order to move during war times. My grandmother May Hirshall (nee Chalmers) has not told me much yet, but I plan on grilling her more.
