I would like to know more about where my family originates from on both my father and mother sides of the family. My father did not remember alot about his family history and my mother never really talked about it. All I really know is that my mother was born in Sheffield, England, her fathers name was John Hughes, not sure of her mom's name. They came to the USA around the year 1922 and lived in Springfield, MA. My dad was born in Johnston, Vermont to Elmer and Myrtie Fay. My grandfather originally is from Canada from what I have heard. With both my parents gone I am curious to know a little bit more about the family that I come from.
