The generation of Pedro Olayres has been in the edge of fading away... in fact memories of people in the second line of descent have been in the verge of being listed as forgotten if we don't start to trace the legacy that was Pedro Olayres. Several of his great great grandchildren , including myself, tried to established a connection amongst in order to construct the ever expanding list of Olayres clan- but never got founded. However, a collaboration through the internet mail between me and my cousin, Yuri Oira, last May 19,2004, may become the point of jumpstarting long over due root tracing and the only one in the making as far!
Our parents, their parents before them, and us third generation parents , down to our children had countless reunions and meetings in the past mostly held in the Philippines in the province of Albay or in Manila.
Siblings that make the first branch of the Pedro Olayres family may yet to be accounted for. The eldest of them, Elpidio Olayres, happens to be my grandfather have already been identified as the first family tree basically namely completed . The other, that of Yuri's descending branch have been categorized as the second family tree marked down.
And so be it, let's roll out the barrel....
