I've always had a fascination with genealogy. I've always wanted to know where my family comes from. It's hard to get information from other family members because our family isn't very close even though we are a very large family. Me and my family live in Long Beach, CA and the rest of the family lives in Illinois or other states. The last time I saw the family was for Easter in 1994 when I was 13 almost 14. My dad started a family tree but we haven't worked on it in a while. I would like to get that started again. There are so many new babies in the family that I've lost track. The last time the family got together was March of 2006 for Grandpa's 74th birthday. The California Olberas weren't able to make it. But my parents received a lot of pictures through the email. I wish my family in Illinois would communicate more and give us more information but they don't. Hopefully somewhere down the line we will get this family tree started again.
