My 11th Generation Grandfather is Richard Olmstead who arrived on the good ship LYON from Braintree England, in Boston on Sept. 12,
1632!. He arrived with his uncle James, two cousins, and a sister
and a brother. There are two sides of the family in America as shown in the Genealogy of 1912. The family of James spelled "ed" and the family of Richard (ours) spelled "ead".
