My 11th Generation grandfather is Richard Olmstead, who arrived, on the good ship LYON from Braintree, England, in Boston on Sept.12th 1632. He arrived with his uncle James, two cousins, and a sister and brother. There are two sides of the family in America as shown in the genealogy of 1912. The family of James, spelled "ed" and the family of Richard, spelled "ead".
