and Joseph Patrick Laughlin. The families originated from Aghagower, Westport, County Mayo, Ireland.

In July 2000, 250 people attended a family reunion
in Wichita, Kansas, hosted by Joe & Marilyn Laughlin for
the Laughlin's and Olden's. Then Robert and Opal O'Loughlin
Halla hosted a family reunion in Great Falls, Montana, for
the O'Loughlin and Smith families, with over 150 attending.

2,114 direct descendants of Hugh M'Loughlin and their spouses are recorded, and 6,840 all related family members
and their spousal families are recorded. Postings will be extended as time permits.
