This branch of the O'Loughlin family is descended from Owen O'Loughlin and Margaret A. Frawley, both originally from Ireland.
Owen and Margaret emigrated separately from Ireland, met and married in the U.S. and lived in Brookline, MA. Children: Mary O'Loughlin Connolly (d. 1980's), Francis Thomas (b. 1912, d. 1971), Owen Michael (b. 1922, d. 2000), Matthew (b. 1925 d. 1999), Catherine O'Loughlin Webb (d. 1960's). Also Charles O'Loughlin and Ann O'Loughlin -- I'm not sure of their birth order -- both died in childhood.
I heard that Owen's father was a tailor in Ireland. Owen's occupation is listed as plumber on my father's birth certificate. Owen died approximately 1932 (suicide) in Boston, MA.
Margaret was from Co. Leitrim, Ireland born Nov. 30 1886; died in the U.S. in February 1966. Margaret had a sister, Ann, who got a passage to the U.S. but decided to stay in Ireland. Margaret took Ann's place and may have travelled on her papers.
Margaret had a sister who came to the U.S. (nickname "Sissy") who married Matt McLaughlin. Their daughter married Eddie DDwyer, and they had 3 kids: Cathy, Noreen + Eddie
