The Will Olver and Marie Syswerda Family Tree

Updated July 21, 2003

About Our Family Research

Even though the family name of Olver is similar to the name Oliver, only recently have we found that the name was common ib the Cornwall area of England. The first member of the family to come to North America was a officer in the British army in 1836/1837. He received land from the Crown in the Plympton County area near Wyoming and Sarnia area of Ontario.

On the maternal side of Willard's family tree, dthe Boynton family can trace their family back to the time of William the Conquerer. However, birth dates and place of birth as well as dates of death and location has to be developed.

The Syswerda family can trace their family back to the 1600s in The Neatherlands. However, the name Syswerda is an American variant of the family name Sijwerda. However, there only a few generations that used that name since earlier members of the family tree where know with the name Baukes, Jenties and Edgars and Isbranes.

On the material side of Marie's family, the Gage family can trace the family tree back to the time of George Washington.
