This family is going to be hard to track because it comes from so many different places. On the father's side (Daniel Ong's side) we have China and then a migration to Malaysia. On the mother's side (Connie Ong's side) we have roots stemming from Germany, Ireland, Scotland, England and even Native American blood.
The family has been scattered all over the world so there have not been that many reunions. This will be a painstaking procedure to source out the various 'family stories' and also the 'family news' A breakthrough was found as a result of finding some old pictures in a suitcase. The pictures turned out to be of the Muhm family and led to a connection to the Knapp family and the Mayhew family- so there was a direct connection to the early settlers of Martha's Vineyard on that side. It will be interesting to see where the other lines finally lead to.
