I have done family research to the OOMS and OOMEN families for more than a decade. The research I have done is: - the OEM family (1200-1700) - the OOM / OOMS families in all regions of the Netherlands - the OOMEN families in all regions of the Netherlands - the OHMEN families in Limburg and Germany - the OHM, OHMS families in Germany - the OOMS families in Belgium
There are a lot of variations in how the familyname was described. Examples are: OEM, OEMS, OEMEN, OEMENS, OHM, OHMEN, OHMENS, OOMEN, OOMENS, OOMES, OOMKES, OOMKENS, OOM, OOME, OOMS, OMEN, OME, OMES etc.
Practice has learned that genealogical research is never complete.
I want to make additions the the genealogical history of these families to add information from familymembers living outsite the Netherlands.
Also from the Noord Holland part of the Netherlands I want to make additions to the OOM and OOMS genealogical information. The same objective I have for the OOMS originating in Belgium. In most situations there is a strong relationship between people with the same familyname in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Please feel free to contact me via email.
