Hello to all cousins and DeFrance family researchers.

My husband is the great-grandson of Margaret Ella DeFrance Young, one of Samuel's many children. Samuel William DeFrance was born in Lycoming County PA in 1833 to James DeFrance and Hannah Sheddy. He married Miss Sarah Ann Thomas in Bardstown KY in 1860 and together they raised 12 children on Pigeon Creek in Byer, Jackson Co., OH. In 1885 the family relocated to Gordon NE.

My hope is to get in contact with the descendants of Samuel and Sarah so that we can share family history and photographs before these precious memories and mementos are lost.
