Alonzo White was born on February 18, 1911 in Lake Charles, LA to parents George and Annie White who were originally from Kingston Jamaica. He was the youngest of three brothers, two of whom were Lucius and William Henry (Bubba). His crippled sister and another brother died in a house fire at an early age. The family moved to Macon, GA where Alonzo grew to manhood. He had one daughter there, Gladys (mother's name unknown). After committing a murder in GA, he "hobo'd" around the country and eventually came to live in Charlotte, NC where he married Amanda (maiden name unknown)and they had one daughter, Christine. He left this family in the 1940's and settled in Baltimore, MD where he had two children with Rebecca Shaw (Alonzo JR. and Anita). We, his Baltimore family, have been unable to locate any of his relatives.
