KAUFFMAN FAMILY In the Philippines

Updated July 14, 2008

About Our Family Research

You know what kauff mean?
- it means something of bavarian ancestry
- The first german inhabitant of "cdo" for example was KAUFFMAN

-- Unfortunately, Mr.Kauffman went back to Germany in the first
World War 1800's and early 1900's

-- he never came back
but he left behind his Filipina Wife and his children.
The Family of Mr.Kauffman is still in Cagayan De Oro,
"PHILIPPINES"

-- Mr.Kauffman arrived in Cagayan de Oro just before the
Americans came.

-- HE married a Filipina and they had two (2 sons) named Pilomino
and ALBERT.

-- But when World War 1 erupted, he went back to germnay.
He never came back. He left his Family behind.

-- Given the circumtances at that time, it must be, that he died
in that War, or that he was not able to get back here in CDO
because of the second WORLD WAR- (WW2)

==== I AM LOOKING FOR GEORGE A. KAUFFMAN Descendants in GERMANY
and ALBERT.. he followed his father in germany
then albert wrote a letter to her mother that he's fine..
and he moved to San Francisco, had a daughter named BEVERLY.
