DATE 30 Nov 2000. @Chillicothe Tribune Oct 17, 1974 George Pepper is dead George Pepper , 92 died at his home , 935 Chicago St., at 11:30 this morning. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Pepper was born Sept. 26, 1882 at Lock Springs, the son of George and Emma Perry Pepper. He was a member of the Lock Springs Masonic lodge. He is survived by a daughter Mrs snow Duncan, Kansas City, several nieces and nephews , a grandchild and a brother , Earl Pepper, Chillicothe. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 from the chapel of the Gorden Home for Funerals. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. _________________________________________________- Chillicothe Tribune Oct 19, 1974 Mount Olive burial for George Pepper Funeral services for George Pepper, who died Thursday, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at 2 from the chapel of the Gordon Home for Funerals conducted by the Rev. Ernest Akers. For the music , organ selections were played by Mrs Barbara Cook. Burial was in MOunt Olive cemetery. Casketbearers were Karl Pepper, Jesse Walker, Junior Reeter, Albert Reeter, Roy Tiberghien and Ernest McDonald.
