Death of "Aunt Kate," as She Was Familiarly Known, Occurred at Home of Sister The death of Mrs Katherine Tiberghien , who conducted a little neighborhood grocery on West Webster street for years and became familiarly known as" Aunt Kate, " occurred about 6:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs James Cusick at Mooresville. She had been in poor health for some time. The body was removed to the Gordon Funeral Home, where it will be held until the time of the funeral. Services are to be conducted at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon by Rev. W. H. Brengle from the Baptist church in Chillicothe. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Mrs. Tiberghien was born January 8, 1865 and spent most of her life in and near Livingston county. Her husband , John samuel Tiberghien died about 35 years ago. The following brothers and sisters survive: Goodlou Grouse, George Grouse, Will Grouse and Mrs Mary Mast of Jackson township and Mrs Cusick of Mooresville. Mrs Edna Stewart Adkins of near St. Louis, reared by Mrs . Tiberghien as her daughter , also survives. Mrs Tiberghien had been a member of the Baptist church., practically all of her life. Her store here was closed about two years ago and she has spent most of her time since then at the home of her sister in Mooresville.
