Hi! My married name is Jeannie Orvedal. From what I can remember, my interest in The Korum-Anderson Family Research all started when I was talking to aunt Virginia(Korum-Anderson)my fathers sister. Now here is what I am not sure of.IF I was telling her about Kenney jrs.(who just so happens to be from the town of Brandon, MN.)contact with his father Kenneth,(my older brother) or I had ask her where grandma Gena was born Virgina mentioned that Grandma Korum-Anderson was from the Brandon, Evansville,MN, area (jeannies fathers, mother).
As a young chlld grandma would often tell us the story about her father,(great grandfather) Johannes, and how he had passed away after being kicked by a horse. Grandma Korum - Anderson was 7 or 8 years old at the time. Great Grandpa Johannes lived only two or three days before he passed away in in his home in Evensville, MN.
