Anthony Providenti came to NY from Sicily. His mother was born in England. He married Euphemia Ciarro in NYC in 1914. They had three surviving daughters: Tina, Matilda and Rita. Gloria died at birth. Euphemia was one of four children born to Bonaventura and Matilda Ciarro. Her surviving siblings were Mary and Salvatore. Her youngest brother was a concert violinist in Europe who died before he reached 30. My mother is Matilda Providenti. She married Geralamo Gagliano, who was born in Italy Jan 26, 1910. He arrived in NY in approximately 1913. His mother's name was Grace. He had one brother and two sisters, Mark, Jenny and Nancy. He was raised in New Jersey, but spent a lot of time on a farm in upstate NY. That's about all I know.
