Our family research began many years ago on a visit to Barbados, where my parents were born. The family tree was begun after a family reunion in Barbados in 1991, and has been updated with information provided on hard copies sent out in the late 90s to various family members. By now, many surnames are represented as descendants of the eldest ancestor yet identified, James Hunt Farnum, 1789-1873. We hope by publishing the tree to reach further back in time, to foster connections among family members, to fill in many details, and to provide a resource for future generations.
