My interest started when my granpop(William Osborne 1900-1981) died in 1981.
Starting with what I already knew and after a brief search at the records office, I was off to a flying start.
But, my start later became entangled in what I now know to be 'tradition'.
I've now got back to 1700's and now searching to confirm my findings.
The Osborne side was always thought to have come from the Wandsworth area of London. But as i've found out that they came from Sevenoaks, Kent. Which by the way is not that far from where I live.
