After many years of research in available public records, personal documents, countless visits to archival resources, interviews with surviving relatives I hope this effort will be interesting to any or all who read it. I wish I had talked to our living grandparents and other relatives but I believe one does not realize the value of our heritage of our ancestors that preceded us. I hope all who pass by will enjoy the facts and details of the family history as much as I have gathering it all. I have been careful to be accurate and forthright with the facts. One must realize that ancient history is not an exact science but I will make careful notes about all of my sources.
