My father was born July 29, 1898 in Burford Township, County of Brant, and I believe his father William Thomas Diver lived in Durham County of Ontario. I am not sure of his mother's name. There were three children in his family. His brother also William Thomas apparently married a war bride, who after a short stay in Canada returned to England with 1(maybe 2) children. He also had a sister Maude, who married Alfred Pinkerton and lived in South River, Ontario. She died December 30, 1969. My own father died June of 1973 also at South River. My grandparents were buried from my father's information at the "chutes", being young, whoever thought you would in later life be trying to find your roots. I have ordered a full birth registration of my dad hoping that it will fill in some of the missing links such as his parents names etc. I am also going to visit my cousin Annie, who is the daughter of Maude, well up in years now too to ascertain if she has any information as to the grandparents names, etc. I have their pictures.
