Marian Lorea Campbell married Michael Lamar O'Shields on August 31, 1973 at the Clarendon Baptist Church Alcolu, South Carolina. Marian is the daughter of Albert and Lorea Ridgeway Campbell of Alcolu, South Carolina. Michael is the son of Wallace John and Juanita Mildred Robertson O'Shields of Woodruff, South Carolina. From September 1, 1973 until June 1, 1974 Marian and Mike resided in York County, South Carolina. From June 1974 until December of 1977 they lived in Clinton, South Carolina. A new home was built in Woodruff and completed in 1977. The couple moved to Great Falls, South Carolina on July 1, 1980 and lived there until moving to Clover, South Carolina in June of 1986. In June of 1992 Marian and Mike moved to Landrum, South Carolina where they reside today at 312 Lexington Road. Both Marian and Mike received bachelor degrees from Bapstist College at Charleston in 1973. In 1977 both received M.A. degrees from Appalachian State University. Marian and Mike are educators. Mike was involved in coaching for all of his career that ended in 2002 when he retired. Marian continues to teach at T.E. Mabry Junior High School. The O'Shields have one son Michael Lamar "Mickey" O'Shields, Junior (born October 12, 1979 and one daughter Charity Elizabeth "Betsi" O'Shields (born January 11, 1983). Mickey is married to Lana Dawn Bagwell of Landrum, South Carolina and works for Sloan Construction as a civil engineer. Betsi is a senior at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina majoring in History and Sociology. She plans to enter the U. S. Secret Service.
