I am cautious about placing information on the web. I have been a beginner at family geneology for some time. I am originally from Corner Brook, Newfoundland. My paternal grandfather, Ernest Clifford Osmond, came to Corner Brook from Greenspond Island, near Gambo in Central Newfoundland. My maternal grandfather, Reginald Thomas Skanes came from Rocky Harbour. All my father's family, except my father, moved from the province in the early 1950's, one to Nova Scotia and the balance to Ontario.
