I have just started my research into our family and so far there is little to write about.
I hope to send this information to my sister, Nanette,who lives in Los Angeles, as she is also interested in researching our family history and she wiil,no doubt, be able to fill in may of the gaps.
Other names which occur in our family history are:-
John & Elizabeth CAMPBELL, their children, Agnes,b.1895: Thomas,b1896. their parents Marshall Campbell and Elizabeth Lucas who married in 1870's
Also William Owens who married Mary Connolly in 1895/6 and their children; William [my father] and his twin brother James b 28/06/98. There was also a sister who was born in 1897/8 and whose name was Annie. I believe she married a butcher from Davidson's Mains possibly a David Smith
Also Peter & Liz Murray of Newhaven and their children; Seaton.Peter Charlotte and Wilbert
And Sophie/Sophia and Charles Whiteford of Gateshead and Monkseaton and their children, Peter and Charles.
