The Irish Immigrant and the Swamp Yankee - Tracing our Roots

Updated April 27, 2007

About Our Family Research

I have traced my own family back to Ireland in 7 of 8 lines; my husband apparently is related to everyone that was in the USA in the 1600's. I'm working to chase down some dead ends, and my special focus is tracing the family members of Ellen Walsh, a first cousin 5 times removed of mine, who lived a fascinating life and who I am currently writing a book about. If you are reading this and are a relation in any way, please contact me, I would love to hear from you!

Names: McEneaney, McEneany, Ducey, Tournas, Rhymer, Gallagher, O'Connor, Crawford, Walsh, Dyer, Morse, Owen, Brightman, Leary, O'Leary, Howard, Sheehan, O'Donnell, Reynolds, Kennedy!
