A debt of thanks is owed to my cousin, Gillian Pearson for the research and preparation of the list of ancestors of the Owen side of our respective family.
Another cousin, E.A. (Ted) Owen contributed his mother's information coupled with his family and that of his brother Evan.
My mother, Hazel, was extremely helpful in following her ancestors back. This coupled with a trip that she and I made to Ontario, particularly Kingston, then Brockville for considerable research into her father's side, down river to Iroquois. After several days we went nothwest to Smith Falls, Perth, Lanark following her mother's side. We searched for Folger Stn, where her mother was raised but it no longer exists but was somewhere not far east of Snow Road Stn. We then traveled back to Toronto, flew to Thunder Bay, then bus to Fort Frances, LaValle and Emo, mother's birth place, then on again by bus to Winnipeg.
This was a wonderful trip from the point of research, nostalgia for mother and and opportunity to see many relatives and old friends for the final time.
